I like Shaws. It can be more expensive for some things but sales are good, produce always looks good and their fish counter doesn't smell bad like almost every Market Basket I walk into. Plus, much wider aisles, and it's very close to my home. All in all, I'll pay a little extra for those conveniences.

Amazing! I stopped in at Shaws about 3 in the afternoon on a weekday because I needed seltzer and macadamia nuts, and I was surrounded by really old people, and what I took to be folks from a halfway house. I was surprised that this crowd was not at Market Basket for the lower prices. That aside- great selection, excellent produce and nice staff. Highly recommended

Had the absolute BEST cashier expeirence from Rafael at line #11 this evening. His energy,kindness,positivity, and scanning efficiency were outstanding. Never in my 6 years shopping at this Shaws location, or ANY grocery store EVER, has a cashier been this upbeat and happy. I witnessed him respectfully compliment and greet several older ladies in front if me while waiting in line. So cool to see the smiles he brought to everyone he talked with! Exactly the boost I needed after a long day. This guy needs a raise. Today. Shaws needs more employees like Rafael. Thank you an AMAZING checkout experience!!!!!

Good place, i have bought pretzels here. I have to note that workers Noah and Laura were a splendid and epic bunch to work with. Good customer service. If you were able to , give them big raises for the big bucks. Thank you !

I’m so overjoyed with my visit to Shaws today. I put in a last minute order Yesterday, to hopefully pick up the cake today. The bakery associates were so helpful, and allowed me to slide the cake order in. Well I was able to pick up the cake today earlier than scheduled!! I was so excited to see how absolutely BEAUTIFUL the cake is, the designers name is Nicole, she did such an amazing job! I could not be happier right now, she deserves recognition for her skills, because she is super talented!! Very happy customer, my son is going to scream when he sees his birthday cake!! Thank you Nicole, and the bakery team who made this possible in such short time. I’m so happy, you all truly made my week!!

A good store to shop in. No shaws in manchester. Like to go for bialys which they have.three other stores we go to do not.bialys are a roll and taste good toasted with butter or peanut butter.
